PRIVACY POLICY

This document discloses the privacy practices for www.divergecentral.com, a website owned and operated by DIVERSITY DYNAMIC CONSULTING (“DIVERGE”).

This Privacy Policy is part of our mission to remain completely transparent with our users. However, as part of our normal operations, we collect information about our users. This policy describes the information we may collect and what may happen with it.

Nevertheless, at all times, DIVERGE will protect your private information. We will not sell personally identifiable information about you without your permission and paying you a portion of proceeds.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the terms of the DIVERGE User Agreement.

1. Minors

If you are a minor aged 13 and up, you can use this service, however, please do not submit any personal information.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Your Registration Information. From your online registration form, which is mandatory for you to use our services.

2.2 Your Usage of Our Site. We automatically track certain information based upon site usage. We use this information to conduct internal research on our users’ demographics, interests, and behavior to better understand and serve our users. This information is compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis.

2.3 Cookies. In addition, we use “cookies” on certain pages of our site. Cookies are small files that can be used to track a user’s steps or automatically generate a user’s password. Some features of our web site may only be available through the use of a cookie. Among other things, cookies allow you to enter your password less frequently during a session. Cookies can also help us provide information which is targeted to your interests. Cookies are stored on your hard drive, not on our site. Most cookies are automatically deleted at the end of a session. You may decline our cookies if your browser permits, although your use of the site may then be restricted (as noted above).

2.4 Your Posts. From post messages in our chat rooms, message boards, and/or platform.

2.5 Your Correspondence. If you send us e-mails, letters or other personal correspondence, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on the web site, we may collect such information.

2.6 Your Credit Account. If you establish a credit account with us, we collect some additional information, including billing address, credit card number and credit card expiration date and tracking information from checks or money orders.

3. Our Use of Your Information

3.1 Uses. Subject to the terms in Paragraph 3.2, we may use personal information about you to for ways to improve the services we deliver to you and to track the trends, demographics, interests, and attitudes of our community.

3.2 We will never sell your information to a third-party without doing the following: 

3.2.1 We will issue a message to our entire membership community and disclose the parameters of the deal we are negotiating subject to approval by a vote of our members. You will have an option to have your information omitted. 

3.2.2 We will pay a dividend to members from any deal that we sign. 

3.3 Administrative Notices. We may use your e-mail address, mailing address, and phone number to contact you regarding administrative notices, new product offerings, and communications relevant to your use of the site. If you do not wish to receive these communications, you may have the ability to opt out on your account status page. We will not disclose this information without your prior consent.

3.3 Billing and Support. If you open a credit account, we may use your address and billing information to bill you and provide associated support.

3.4 Dispute Resolution. We use information in the file we maintain about you, and other information we obtain from your current and past activities on the Site, to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, and enforce our User Agreement.

4. Our Disclosure to Third Parties

4.1 We use practices that are consistent with standards in the industry to protect your privacy. We cannot, however, promise that your personally identifiable information or private communications will remain private. For example, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications. We do promise, however, not sell or rent any personally identifiable information about you to any third-party.

4.2 Advertisers. We will not allow predatory marketing on our platform. However, we may disclose aggregate information about our users to advertisers and for other marketing and promotional purposes. We will do disclose any personally identifying information to any of these entities.

4.3 User ID on DIVERGE Site. Throughout the Site, you are identified by the name you provide us as your User ID.  Although our pages are coded with robot exclusion headers, others may attempt to extract your e-mail address from our site.

4.4 Third-Party Suppliers. We may use third-party suppliers to assist us in providing the services available on our web site. Whenever a third-party supplier desires to collect information about you, you will be notified of the involvement of the third-party supplier, and you will never be required to disclose and information to the third-party supplier. We impose contractual restrictions on the use by third-party suppliers of information concerning you, and we do not permit third-party suppliers to sell your information to third parties.

5. Use by You of DIVERGE Site Information

5.1 Use Limited to Site-Related Communications.

5.1.1 Because of the nature of the services offered on DIVERGE, DIVERGE allows you to access other users’ contact information. You may use such information only for DIVERGE-related communications.

5.1.2 Our Site-related communication expressly excludes unsolicited commercial messages

5.1.3 Under no circumstances can you disclose personally identifiable information about another user to any third-party without our consent and the consent of such other user after adequate disclosure.

5.2 No Spam. DIVERGE and our users do not tolerate spam. Therefore, without limiting the foregoing, you are not licensed to add an DIVERGE user to your mail list (e-mail or physical mail) without their express consent after adequate disclosure.

6. Disclosures You Make to Third Parties

DIVERGE does not control the privacy policies of third parties. When you disclose information to third parties on DIVERGE (or any other web site) about yourself, you are subject to the privacy customs and policies of that third-party.
